The conceptual design of the new administrative building has been developed in the historical center of Irkutsk, at the junction of Baikalskaya Street and Gornaya Street.
From the side of Baikalskaya Street, in the neighborhood of the projected facility are two restored two-storey wooden houses
(architectural monuments), from the side of Gornaya Street — one-story modern pavilions with retaining walls of brick and large areas of glazing.
The designed building has incorporated the main finishing materials of the neighboring properties: brick for the first two floors and wood for the third and fourth (mansard) floors. The main two-story volume of the building looks more massive (in the finishing proposed imitation of dark, aged brick), the height does not exceed the mark of +8 000. The upper floors are lowered on the side of Baikalskaya St. (at a mark of +12 000, with an increase to the inner part of the yard up to +15 000), and are also executed in a lighter material (wood) and in a light color scheme. All the marks of the object are made according to the normative documents.
