Master plans

In 2016, we completed the regeneration project for Irkutsk’s historic centre — ‘Irkutsk Quarters’. Since then, we have been steadily expanding our geographical reach and the scale of our work.

Today, our solutions span the entire country — from local urban spaces to development strategies for entire metropolitan areas. We work both independently and as part of consortia alongside leading design firms.

The film was produced as part of the conceptual master plan development for the city of Neryungri, commissioned by ДОМ.РФ

We were pioneers

of master planning in Russia

A video presentation of the 'Winter City' project, developed for the Tiksi‑Naiba agglomeration in Bulunsky District, Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

As part of the Far Eastern track, we developed conceptual master plans for Krasnokamensk and Neryungri, which received the support of the President of the Russian Federation in 2024. In partnership with Rosatom State Corporation, we prepared master plans in 2025 for four closed administrative-territorial entities (ZATOs) in the Chelyabinsk and Sverdlovsk regions.

As part of the development programme for key settlements in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2035, we joined the teams behind five Arctic master plans, including the Tiksi‑Naiba agglomeration (commissioned by ДОМ.РФ).

In the nomination "Small towns with a population of 20,000 to 50,000 people inclusive," the landscaping concept for the park in SAYANSK "Taiga Boulevards Park" came in first place. SAYANSK "TAYAZHY BULVARDS" became a prize winner. The city received a grant of 75 million rubles from the federal budget for the implementation of this project.

The development and landscaping concept of the Historic Center of Nerchinsk — "The Golden Thread" became a prize winner in the nomination "Small towns with a population from 10,000 to 20,000 people inclusive". The city received a grant of 65 million rubles from the federal budget for the implementation of the presented project.

The project "Irkutsk quarters" developed by Lab became the winner in the category "Best mixed-use development created from any type of real estate" in the block of nominations "RENEWAL" (regeneration, renovation) of the professional PROESTATE&TOBY Awards 2019.

The Professional PROESTATE&TOBY Awards 2019 are organized by the Organizing Committee of the International Real Estate Investment Forum PROESTATE and the American Builders and Managers Association (BOMA International), supported by the Russian Guild of Property Managers and Developers and the Moscow Investors Association. The PROESTATE&TOBY Awards is an award that covers all segments of the real estate market and defines the industry’s gold standards at the international level.
