The territory for the park is familiar to many shooters and lovers of weapons in Irkutsk — a shooting range near the village of Dobrolet located along the Goloustensky tract. Until 2016, it was one of the popular places for shooting and recreation of the townspeople, but in the future, the operation of the shooting range was suspended.

The objective of the project is to revive the place and create the necessary infrastructure for recreation, which will increase interest in shooting sports, as well as a new place for a comfortable family vacation.
