The embankment is the center of the city, a calling card of Kirensk — something that is primarily seen by tourists, visitors to the city and residents of the left bank. It is the central recreational space, the dominant urban planning element that enhances the interaction of the two banks. The embankment design marks a new stage in the development of the city.

The concept recreates the central waterfront, which will give impetus to the development of local cultural and entrepreneurial projects oriented towards the citizens.

Taking into account the needs of the residents, the handicraft industries are being revived through the creation of an educational and manufacurate space in the beautification area, which will contribute to the revival of the handicraft industries, development of private educational initiatives, as well as vocational education of specialists from housing and utilities, oil and timber industries, and river navigation crews.

The concept presents Kirensk as a logistic and administrative center for the development of natural riches of the north, with tourism potential due to its historical heritage and recreational opportunities of the Lena River and taiga.

Commercial infrastructure facilities are created for city residents, commuters and tourists, the lack of functions of which was identified at the stage of pre-project research.
