Description
The main idea is built around the theme of the "city-forest". "City-Forest" is a reboot of Mari culture in a contemporary interpretation, where the sacred forest penetrates the built environment rather than the other way around, where architecture enhances the forest atmosphere rather than suppressing it. This is a territory where residents and visitors of all ages, in any season, can find an activity to their liking – to live, work, and relax in the forest while being in the centre of the republic's capital. "City-Forest" is a comfortable, contemporary, distinctive, and innovative space for realising all the creative ideas of the residents and guests of Yoshkar-Ola. A dense, rational development of the territory with permanent construction facilities has been designed taking into account the permitted land uses, property structure, identified territorial reserves, and constraints. The design solutions bring order to the existing dispersed development, reducing visual and urban noise.
